Site Reliability Engineer II

Things You’ll Do Here:
- Lead and execute infrastructure and reliability initiatives, ensuring alignment with business requirements and timelines.
- Maintain and optimize cloud-hosted infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents impacting application performance, system health, or availability.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to infrastructure support needs.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and automated software delivery.
- Identify and address gaps in site reliability engineering practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with development teams to enhance adoption of DevOps and CI/CD methodologies.
- Conduct security reviews and implement remediations based on findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Systems Administrators, Developers, QA, Analysts, and Product—to ensure seamless systems integration and operational success.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- 4+ years in Systems Engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
- Strong experience designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines in production environments and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps, AWS, GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Strong understanding of Windows/Linux systems and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience in network configuration (security groups, load balancers).
- Experience with Kubernetes in production.
- Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Dynatrace).
- Background supporting compliance audits or using security tools like Vanta or Invicti.
Where You’ll Work: This is a fully remote position, and we’ll provide all the necessary equipment!
- Work Environment: You’ll need a quiet workspace that is free from distractions.
- Technology: Reliable internet connection—if you can use streaming services, you’re good to go!
- Security: Adherence to company security protocols, including the use of VPNs, secure passwords, and company-approved devices/software.
- Location: You must be US based, in a location where you can work effectively and comply with company policies such as HIPAA.
