About This Opportunity:
As a Software Developer in Test I, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of Web and Mobile applications through automated QA coverage, bug monitoring, and proactive testing strategies. You'll focus on UI, API, and database testing for Angular, .NET, and Python applications, while also scripting mobile app automation with tools like Postman and Cypress. Your ability to troubleshoot defects using SQL queries will be essential, as will your collaboration with cross-functional teams. Leveraging CI/CD technologies and contributing innovative solutions will be key to driving the success and reliability of our applications.
Things You’ll Do Here:
- Track product changes and create automated QA coverage for Web & Mobile applications.
- Monitor QA test results; document bugs and triage issues, as needed.
- Analyze bug trends and author new QA scripts to catch issues proactively (i.e. find creative ways to break our apps).
- Conduct UI, API, and database testing for Angular, .NET, and Python web applications (Cypress).
- Author cross-platform & native Mobile app automation scripts (Swift, Kotlin).
- Utilize API testing tools (Postman, Swagger).
- Script SQL database queries to investigate application behavior & troubleshoot defects.
- Utilize continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) automation technologies.
- Plan, track and collaborate on work using an ALM suite (Azure DevOps).
- Collaborate with Developers, Analysts, Client Advocates, and Product Stakeholders.
- Contribute ideas and perspective; propose innovative approaches to problems.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- One (1) or more years’ experience in building with SQL, .NET, Python, and/or JavaScript.
- Experience tracking projects & issues with ALM software (GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jira)
- Knowledge using GIT to version and manage code.
- Working knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
- Ability to find bugs in a product & communicate those issues in a constructive manner.
- Ability to understand complex, interdependent software products, and business requirements.
- Understanding core concepts of QA, DevOps, CI/CD, and the technologies that make those possible.
