About This Opportunity:

As a Scrum Master, you'll play a key role in keeping our Agile teams running smoothly. You'll help facilitate Agile ceremonies, coach teams on Scrum best practices, and make sure sprints stay on track. You'll work closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to remove roadblocks, encourage continuous improvement, and drive accountability.

Things You’ll Do Here:

  • Support the Product Owner in effective backlog management, refining user stories, and ensuring clear prioritization for upcoming sprints and releases.
  • Track and monitor sprint progress, adherence to commitments, and key Agile metrics (e.g., burndown charts, velocity) to provide visibility and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Serve as a bridge between the Scrum team, Product Owners, Stakeholders, and other teams to ensure alignment on requirements, priorities, and dependencies.
  • Proactively identify and address obstacles that could hinder the team's progress, escalating issues as needed while fostering a problem-solving mindset within the team.
  • Encourage a culture of learning, experimentation, and adaptability by facilitating retrospectives that lead to actionable improvements.
  • Educate and mentor team members on Agile principles, Scrum best practices, and self-organization to enhance team maturity.
  • Identify and coordinate interdependencies with other teams to ensure efficient workflows and seamless delivery.
  • Promote transparency, accountability, and collaboration, empowering the team to take ownership of their work while fostering a psychologically safe environment.
  • Mediate discussions, facilitate decision-making, and help the team navigate challenges constructively.
  • Leverage Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally) to enhance team collaboration, track progress, and maintain visibility into workflows.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve team efficiency, quality, and delivery through Agile best practices and feedback loops.
  • Stay current with Agile methodologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • 3+ years of related experience with experience leading projects.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills with the ability to inspire teams to adopt Agile principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Advanced problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in leveraging Agile metrics to assess team performance and track progress.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required within 90 days of hire.

A plus if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Where You’ll Work: This is a fully remote position, and we’ll provide all the necessary equipment!

  • Work Environment: You’ll need a quiet workspace that is free from distractions.
  • Technology: Reliable internet connection—if you can use streaming services, you’re good to go!
  • Security: Adherence to company security protocols, including the use of VPNs, secure passwords, and company-approved devices/software.
  • Location: You must be US based, in a location where you can work effectively and comply with company policies such as HIPAA.
