About This Opportunity: As the Senior Vice President & General Manager, Bluebook you will be accountable for the overall success, growth, and performance of Valenz Bluebook, the company's healthcare cost transparency and member decision-support platform. This is a unique opportunity to lead one of Valenz's most visible strategic growth platforms and directly influence the future of healthcare transparency, member engagement, and healthcare affordability.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will serve as the enterprise leader for Bluebook, with responsibility for business strategy, product performance, operational stabilization, market adoption, revenue growth, client value realization, and long-term profitability.
You will drive Bluebook's evolution from a valuable product offering to a strategic growth platform within the Valenz ecosystem. The role requires close partnership across Product, Technology, Revenue, Marketing, Member Engagement, Client Success, Finance, Legal, Human Resources and Operations to ensure Bluebook delivers measurable savings, exceptional customer experiences, sustainable growth, and meaningful business results. You will serve as the primary executive voice for Bluebook internally and externally, ensuring organizational alignment around strategy, execution, and outcomes.
Things You’ll Do Here:
Business Leadership & Financial Performance
- Serve as the executive owner of the Bluebook business, with accountability for overall performance, growth, profitability, and strategic direction.
- Develop and execute a multi-year business strategy that drives adoption, differentiation, and long-term enterprise value.
- Establish annual operating plans, budgets, forecasts, and performance objectives.
- Own business performance reviews with executive leadership and regularly communicate progress, opportunities, and risks.
- Drive revenue growth, client retention, margin expansion, and market penetration.
- Evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams that support growth objectives.
- Lead Bluebook stabilization efforts, ensuring platform reliability, scalability, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
- Establish and monitor operational health metrics and service performance standards.
- Define and oversee the product roadmap, balancing customer needs, market opportunities, operational priorities, and financial objectives.
- Prioritize product enhancements that improve member engagement, utilization, conversion, and savings outcomes.
- Leverage market intelligence, customer feedback, competitive analysis, and performance data to inform product strategy.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, capabilities, and innovations that strengthen Bluebook's competitive position.
Go-to-Market Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Own the overall go-to-market strategy for Bluebook, including positioning, value proposition, pricing strategy, and market expansion initiatives.
- Partner with Revenue, Marketing, and Client Success leaders to drive new sales, retention, and growth opportunities.
- Develop sales enablement tools, ROI models, customer success stories, and value-based messaging that support commercial success.
- Participate directly in strategic sales opportunities, finalist presentations, executive briefings, and client renewals.
- Ensure customer reporting clearly demonstrates measurable value, member savings, engagement, and return on investment.
- Establish and monitor growth targets, pipeline performance, renewal rates, and expansion opportunities.
- Serve as executive sponsor for key Bluebook clients and strategic relationships.
- Partner closely with Client Success and Account Management teams to strengthen customer relationships and improve client outcomes.
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and execute strategic partnerships and integrations that enhance capabilities, expand market reach, and generate incremental revenue.
- Represent Valenz Bluebook at industry conferences, client events, and market-facing engagements.
- Serve as a thought leader and ambassador for healthcare transparency, member engagement, and value-based healthcare solutions.
- Align Product, Technology, Revenue, Marketing, Member Engagement, Operations, Finance, and HR, and Legal teams around Bluebook priorities and performance objectives.
- Ensure resources are appropriately prioritized to support business objectives and customer needs.
- Partner with Finance to establish pricing strategy, margin targets, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Partner with Legal to define business terms, contract structures, and governance standards.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Build organizational alignment around Bluebook's strategic vision and execution priorities.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within healthcare, healthcare technology, benefits, navigation, transparency, consumer engagement, managed care, or related industries.
- Demonstrated success leading a business, product portfolio, or business unit with direct accountability for growth and financial performance.
- Experience owning or influencing P&L outcomes, including revenue growth, pricing strategy, forecasting, and profitability.
- Proven track record driving market adoption, customer engagement, and measurable business results.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing executive stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and analytical capabilities.
- Exceptional executive presence, communication, and presentation skills.
- MBA or other advanced business degree.
- Experience in healthcare transparency, navigation, consumer engagement, self-funded employer markets, or healthcare cost containment.
- Experience scaling growth-stage products or business lines.
- Experience working directly with C-suite clients, brokers, consultants, and strategic partners.

- Location: You must be US based, in a location where you can work effectively and comply with company policies such as HIPAA.
- Travel: Required for executive meetings and customer interactions (approximately 30%)
